Ready to Run!

Just thought I'd share a little fun from our weekend! We got rained out from our usual Saturday of soccer games, but the lightening held off just long enough for both boys to compete in their runs to benefit our local High School called the Bearkat Bash. Visit www.bearkatbash.com and click results to see where the 5k runners finished! The 1k runners didn't get timed... but Cameron came in the top 10 in the Kindergarten/1st Grade race!

SPRING

It is officially SPRING... and it just happens that in this season of our lives, you can also find The Wild Westerfields in Spring, Texas! :)

To ring in Spring Break... we were blessed with a family trip to the Atlantic side of Florida. Mark got to "work" on training in a Jet Simulator -- if you can call that work for a man so passionate about flying ;) And Mommy & the boys spent the week bonding over some much needed sun, relaxation, beach and pool time. Daddy joined us for nightly walks by the ocean and sea shell collecting, followed by the terribly addictive Frozen Yogurt Monster! :D

Caleb's first official week of School went incredibly well! He made 2 new friends, Luke and Maggie... but don't worry old friends, he still talks about missing you often. Hopefully we can Skype soon! He also competed in his very first Field Day. We made it a family activity and had a picnic lunch at the school, and cheered Caleb on for a few events :)

Hopefully you noticed the "Ford's Trucks - Built Ford Tough" on the back of Caleb's custom made Tee Shirt. ... Each "team" aka Class had a team name and tee shirt to compete in... Caleb's new teacher is Ms. Ford... so Cute! 

We are all looking forward to Easter and celebrating the Savior's victory over Death and Sin! Thank you Jesus... the Lord is Risen... He is Risen Indeed!
